Shipping & Delivery Policy

Durham Firewood delivers orders using either a dump truck or a trailer, depending on the size and type of your order. By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the following:

1. Access Requirements
   • Customers must ensure that our delivery vehicle has safe and clear access to the drop-off location.
   • Delivery requires adequate space for a large truck or trailer to enter, maneuver, and unload safely.
2. Property Conditions
   • Customers are responsible for confirming that their driveway, laneway, or property surface can accommodate the weight of a dump truck or trailer.
   • Durham Firewood is not liable for any damage to driveways, lawns, landscaping, or other property resulting from the delivery process, unless due to negligence.
3. Drop-Off
   • Firewood will be delivered and unloaded in one location as agreed upon at the time of delivery.
   • Drivers cannot hand-stack wood or move product beyond the designated dump area.
4. Scheduling
   • Deliveries are scheduled within agreed timeframes, but are subject to weather and road conditions. We will contact you in advance if a delay occurs.
5. Customer Presence
   • We recommend customers be present at the time of delivery. If that is not possible, clear instructions must be provided.
