About Us
Local Firewood, From Our Family to Yours
Durham Firewood is a family-run firewood supplier based in Pickering, Ontario, serving Durham Region and surrounding communities. We provide seasoned hardwood for fireplaces, wood stoves, backyard fire pits, cottages, and everyday wood-burning needs.
Our standard firewood is a seasoned hardwood blend, predominantly maple and ash. We also carry bagged firewood, cedar kindling, and specialty wood for pizza ovens, smokers, saunas, and live-fire cooking.
Whether you're stocking up for winter or just need enough wood for a weekend fire, we try to keep ordering straightforward, delivery reliable, and service personal.

Meet the Family
We’re the faces behind the firewood.
Between splitting logs, making deliveries, and raising four kids, life around here is rarely quiet. You’ll often find us at the pool, on the local trails, or in the middle of a Pokémon TCG showdown - usually with a little sawdust somewhere nearby.
On summer days and weekends, our kids are often part of the loading crew, helping get pickup orders into customers’ vehicles.
Durham Firewood is very much a family business, and we take pride in helping other families stay warm, enjoy their fireplaces, and make a few good memories around the fire.
Little Lumberjacks
Firewood Isn't Just for Burning
With four kids in the family, Little Lumberjacks gives us a place to explore the more interesting side of the woodpile. How does a tree become firewood? Why do different woods burn differently? What actually happens when a fire burns?
We share simple science, stories and interesting facts about trees, fire and the different woods we work with - from the maple and ash in our regular hardwood blend to specialty woods used for cooking and smoking.
